Our holiday house in Alburquerque

Happy 9th Birthday Tom

We were invited to sit inside the cock pit of the plane we flew in to Albuquerque. This was exciting and would not have happened if we had not missed our earlier flight. Instead of flying directly to Albuquerque we had to fly to Denver first then switch planes and fly to Albuquerque. It was annoying but we all survived and we live to see another day.

LA highway.
Oh dear.........goofy

Sleeping beauty's castle is beautiful at night...

Thomas fighting Darth Maul as a part of his training

Jack during his training

Well despite all being very tired we decided to go to Disneyland on Monday 26th).
It is a huge place so we didn't get to see everything but we saw plenty that made it a great day. Sarah loved her tea cup ride and sleeping beauty's castle, Timmy took the training to become a Star Wars Jedi in training role very seriously and Jack and Tom even loved the Carousel.

Our first hire car: Chrysler Aspen

Bill and Maryanne's place where we stayed in LA.

Shopping for the VERY rich!!!

Look what jetlag did to our boys.............

LA airport. These tall palms are evrywhere.

Loving the plane

We made it to the airport. Nanny and Poppy and Aunty Deb, Uncle Ron, Lachie & Teea and Uncle Mick all came to see us off. The kids loved flying. With a TV each and lots of choices of movies they were happy. Sarah loved being waited on by flight attendants. She really is a princess :) We all eventually had some sleep. The kids had a lot more than the parents. But then we are use to 6 hr nights.
Landed in LA and after picking up our hire care we went cruising around LA checking out, Mailibu, Santa Monica Pier, Rodeo Drive, Beverley Hills and Holloywood. We didn't get out and look around but we will when we end up in LA in preparation for coming home. The kids saw most of the sights except for when they had a short nap.

We stayed with a bloke Steve knows from his MROP (Arizona 2005), Bill & Maryanne Berry, who live in Pasadena. They were very hospitable and even cooked us a traditional Thanksgiving dinner of turkey, mashed potato and cranberry sauce with pumpkin pie for dessert. We were all very tired but we managed to stay awake long enough to enjoy the meal and Bill & Maryanne's company.

Well, not long to go now.
Just about ready with a few last minute things to organise.
Please pray that we will get our bas statement completed before the end of the week and that we get sufficient rest.
